No Choice of Vaccine Form
Public Health directs that anyone eligible to receive nasal vaccine must receive nasal vaccine.
Who is eligible for injectable vaccine?
Persons over 50.
Persons with immune system problems (including HIV, AIDS, cancer, and organ transplant recipients).
Persons living with or in close contact with anyone with a profoundly weakened immune system (i.e. recent organ transplant recipients).
Persons taking corticosteroids or anti-cancer drugs, or have had x-ray treatments.
Children and adolescents who are taking aspirin or salicylates on a regular basis.
Persons with lung problems, including asthma.
Persons with heart disease, or past heart attack or stroke.
Persons with blood or kidney disease.
Persons with diabetes or other metabolic disease.
Pregnant women.

We cannot administer vaccine to persons who:
Have no chronic health conditions, but currently have nasal congestion, acute respiratory illness, or a fever; or
Have a history of Guillain-Barre syndrome; or
Have had a serious reaction after receiving a vaccination; or
Have a severe allergy to eggs or egg products; or
Are currently taking antiviral medications (Tamiflu, Relenza, amantadine); or
Have received H1N1 vaccine within the last 28 days; or
are younger than 2.
